Nir Pak

Diagnosing the undiagnosed with a portable A1C test device.
Nir Pak seeks to provide accessible and early diagnoses of diabetes for more people, more effectively by combining current optical near infrared technology (NIR) with the emerging technology of Raman spectroscopy (Raman). A technology that has the ability to detect individual molecule concentrations like glucose levels in the blood. By combining optical NIR and Raman spectroscopy, the Nir Pak purposes to scan and test a patient’s blood glucose level through a noninvasive finger scan. Nir Pak’s’ design is compact enough for a medical technician to bring the test directly to the patient's front door.
