Piece of Mind

I was the author, designer, editor, and publisher in chief. First I collected content. The texts I chose came from old yearbooks, academic readings, letters from loved ones, and more. There are poems, essays, philosophies, short stories, and ephemera that have all shaped my thinking. I designed, developed, and refined the visual style of the book and landed on a purely typographic form. Then I began the bespoke construction of the book which included printing, perfect-binding the text block, trimming it to size, and sewing the cover.
